This 59 year old woman was diagnosed with a large area of DCIS on the right breast and underwent right mastectomy and immediate reconstruction with acellular dermal matrix and final permanent implant without the need for staged tissue expanders. She chose not to have her left breast reduced or lifted for symmetry, since she felt she had good symmetry in her bra.
