This 53 year old woman was diagnosed with an invasive right breast carcinoma. She underwent a single stage right skin sparing mastectomy and immediate reconstruction with a unilateral TRAM flap, and subsequent nipple reconstruction. She is seen before, and two years after completion of her surgery. Notice the improvement of her abdominal contour as a result of the use of the abdominal tissue to reconstruct her right breast.
