This 32 year old woman underwent prior breast reduction by another surgeon in the past, and subsequently was diagnosed with breast cancer necessitating bilateral mastectomies. She had reconstruction by another surgeon with tissue expanders which were complicated by infection requiring their removal. She presented to Dr. Kalus some time thereafter requesting bilateral breast reconstructions. This was performed by Dr. Kalus in two stages, first with the Aero Expander (no needles) followed by replacement with silicone gel implants. She is seen before her tissue expander placement, and six months after her completed reconstructions. She was extremely pleased.
