Case Details
This 69 year old woman had previous two stage subpectoral expander implant reconstructions by another surgeon six years prior. She was displeased with her breast shape, asymmetry, and discomfort, and was bothered by “animation deformity” (movement of the breasts and implants when she flexed her pectorals). She underwent revision surgery by Dr. Kalus with conversion from subpectoral (under the muscle) to prepectoral (above the muscle) with the use of ADM (Acellular Dermal Matrix) and she is seen three months after her revision surgery, extremely pleased with her improvement.
